Frederick Charles commissioned a painting based on the first book, and the image painted is the front cover of the first book.

The painting was commissionEd for £7,350.

Frederick Charles commissioned artist Penny Golledge through the Mall Galleries London to paint this spectacular masterpiece in 2008. ‘Go Through The Gate’ is 8 foot by 5 foot oil on canvas. It was in a community art exhibition in Chelsea expressing hope through art.

The painting is in Early Renaissance style with a Surreal twist and is along the lines of Hieronymous Bosch, Raphael, or Bellini and Botocelli. This is a painting that accompanies the first book, a book about the authors dreams that are connected with his experiences in Africa, and the good and evil he sees in his culture.

Christ is depicted holding out his hands to sinners in a beautiful garden, but they are not listening. Many of the images are symbolic emanating the Christian message of Hope. The painting takes the viewer on a journey, through the gates of Hell, onwards and upwards into a new Heaven where Jesus awaits with open arms.

The painting involves many religious concepts.

It is clear in the painting that the ancient myths and legends told over thousands of years by different religions possibly originate from the same source.
